Their founders are a pair of young, dynamic twin sisters, who are proudly Dutch. They work with the world’s leading bartenders to create innovative cocktails with 100% natural ingredients. And because they put the hard work into their mixers, they’ve made it super easy to be innovative at home too!

Background
The Tall Hedonist is quite the budding mixologist, and his inventively creative cocktails is a regular weekend feature in The Little House. Having moved on from the cocktails of my youth (think sugary sweet cordials, glacé cherries and electric blue mixers), I now prefer them to be classic and timeless.
There is nothing quite as satisfying and aesthetically pleasing than a gorgeous mixed drink in a stunning glass, minimalistically garnished with woody herbs and fresh fruit.
Tim and I were elated when Double Dutch sent over four-packs of their range of premium mixers. We were set on creating some winter warming classics, but with the added twist of these elegant mixers and tonics.
You’re bound to find the perfect twin for your drink. I was excited by the contemporary flavour combinations, and we couldn’t wait to get mixing.
The story of mixed drinks
Through the years, cocktails have gained a bad reputation for being loaded with artifical flavours, colours and hopeless amounts of sugar. They were mostly sickly sweet drinks made palatable with heavy syrups and a smorgasbord of even higher calorie spirits.
The Double Dutch promise
In a society where there is a growing call for clean living and wholesome alternatives to enhance a healthy lifestyle, Double Dutch‘s mixers do not contain any artificial flavouring, colouring or preservatives. This means endless combinations of low calorie alternatives to your favourite aperitif.
Serving suggestions
These days, it seems the art of a mixed drink lies in the simplicity thereof. Fresh ingredients, natural garnishes and only a few premium spirits, topped with the finest mixer.
Tim loves making simple cocktails (or mocktails). As we tasted our way through various recipes, I came to realise that Double Dutch‘s mixers are simply good enough to drink on its own, too!
After many hours of pouring over cocktail recipe books and countless taste tests, we came up with six recipes for cocktails. We also offer suggestions on how to make it alcohol-free without losing the wow-factor.

In conclusion
I love the clean feel and taste of these Double Dutch mixers and tonics. They’re great simply on their own (the cranberry and ginger drink is my absolute favourite as a thirst quencher!) or to add that little bit of sophistication to a mixed drink.
I also appreciated the creative space they gave me to mix and match my perfect winter drinks with an offering that extends miles past the usual tonic water or lemonade. They’re fresh, funky and oh-so-festive in all the right ways.
Thank you, Double Dutch, for allowing our inner mixologists to indulge in your range of premium mixers!
